Vanessa Fraser, redshirting during the spring outdoor season for Stanford, ran a personal-best 15:25.83 to place in the fastest section of the women's 5,000 meters at the Payton Jordan Invitational at her home Cobb Track and Angell Field. Fraser, who would have the top time this year in NCAA Division 1, improved to the No. 2 American and 17th in the world this year.
